使用 gtodo 规划你的任务
是否觉得日常工作与学习很无序，丢三落四，不能很好地控制事务的进度？gtodo 是 gnome 桌面的一个管理个人 ToDo list 的小工具，采用 GTK 2.0 开发。尽管 gtodo 显的有些单薄，但是它：
- 易于使用；
- 具有 ToDo List 类别管理功能，比如默认为每个用户建立了个人、商务类别，同时允许用户根据自己需要建立相应类别；
- 可以设定各项任务的优先级，并根据优先级、计划期限、状态等特征进行排序；
- 可作为 Gnome Applet 显示在 Gnome 桌面的面板 (gnome-panel) 上。
对于 Gentoo 用户，可以 “emerge gtodo” 进行安装，其它 Linux 发行版的软件源中应该也是有这个软件包的，如果没有请在评论中回复。
下图是 gtodo 单独运行时的界面：
右键单击 Gnome 面板，在 “添加到面板” 对话框中可找到 “Gnome gtodo Applet”，将其添加到 Gnome 面板上，如下图所示：
以下是可以帮助你写好 ToDo List 的一些准则：
- 分解：分解清楚的命令会让任务更容易的执行。比如计划要清理办公桌，不能就简单写这么一个步骤，应该分解成“整理文件夹”、“把旧文件销毁掉”、“打包不用的书籍”等等。
- 计划中使用下一步（next action）：如果一个计划有多个步骤，就要在你的 to-do list 里保留下一个要执行的步骤。这个步骤执行完毕，回到计划（Project）列表，然后添加再下一步。这样每件事在你的 to-do list 里只有一小步。
- 使用具体而明确的动词：任务要清晰明确。比如计划联系某个人，就要写上“给某某打电话”或者“发邮件给某某”而不是写“联系某某”。这样执行起来不用考虑那么多。
- 让列表尽量短一些：谁希望看到长的没尽头的 to-do list 呢？我通常保持我的 to-do list 小于20条，因为这个列表应该只包括近两周要做的要紧事情，而不是 Someday/Maybe 。
- 保持活跃：虽然列表不长，但每天执行2-5个，然后再添加2-5个。列表是活跃的，不要管它看上去如何有序，要做什么就写上去。
- 区分次序：虽然列表有20来条，但每天只能执行一部分（但愿你别把“起床、洗澡、上班”这样的事情加到列表里）。把要执行的放在列表的顶端，不管用什么软件或者方法，一眼看到要做的步骤是必要的。
- 清理：就像要看看列表最前面的项目，也要关注那些东西长期留在你的列表里。看看这些东西是不是需要重新计划，或者分解，再或者干脆不需要在列表里存在。
- 记下已做的事项：就像员工完成任务要在老板面前邀功请赏一样，看看自己做好的事情，成就感会带来积极性的提升。要是两三天都没完成一个项目，那么该考虑修改自己的 to-do list 了。
和任何习惯一样，做好自己的 to-do list 也要多练习。建立有效的 to-do list 并不断练习，会让你轻松快速的应对生活。
